HOW TO CLEAN UP YOUR EXTERNAL STORAGE USING CMD

fig.6 (CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY)
fig.7 (ACTIVE)
fig.8(FORMAT FS=FAT32 QUICK)

NB: This method of clean up could  be applied when your  external storage has beyond the process of formatting

I will show you this by following the STEPS below:

Step 1:Click the Windows button and press CMD as shown in fig.1 and fig.1.1 above and hit the ENTER key, this will display command prompt screen (black color) like the one in fig.1.2
Step 2:On the command prompt scr., enter DISKPART as shown in fig.2, it pop-out an administrator wind, click YES. "Merely doing this, you enable the admin. permission" hence, it pop-out second scr. as shown fig.2.1.
Step 3:  On this SECOND screen, (fig.2.1) type LIST DISK  and hit the ENTER key. it shows the scr. in fig.3

Note: From the status, the first online disk (Disk 0) is usually your internal disk make sure u DON'T select this.

Step 4: On the same screen, type SELECT DISK 1 (depending on the disk u want to clean-up from the listed disk) hit the ENTER key it  shows scr. in fig.4.

Step 5:On the same screen, type CLEAN  and hit the enter key. it shows scr. in fig. 5.

Step 6:On same screen, type CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY  and hit the enter key. It shows scr. in fig. 6.

Step 7:On same screen, type ACTIVE  and hit the enter key. It shows scr. in fig.7

Step 8:On same screen, type FORMAT FS=FAT32 QUICK and hit the enter key. It shows scr. in fig. 8

Step 9:On same screen, type EXIT and hit the enter key

Step 10:Repeat this on the first screen.

                                                                               CONGRATULATION! YOUR EXTERNAL STORAGE IS READY TO USE
